PRIMITIVE METHODISM.
The district meeting of the Primitive Methodist Church opened this afternoon in the local church. The following delegates are in attendance : —Rev. C. E. Ward, and Mr J. Mines (Wellington 1), Rev. J. Dawson and Messrs J. F. Doherty and F. Ellison (Wellington 11.), Rev. J. Cocker, and Messrs J. Embury andW. Higginbottom (Wellington in.), Rev. P. J. Cossnm, and Messrs J, Miner, and T. F. Gibson (Feilding), Rev. J. Southern. Messrs M. 'H. Walker, and G. H. Stiles (Foxton), Rev. J. C. Gover, and W. Fergusson (Halcombe). The Rev. P. J. Cossum will act as District Delegate, representing the New Zealand conference.
A public meeting will be held at eight o’clock in the church in connection with the above. The Rev. C. E. Ward, President of the Conference, will be in the chair. The Revs. J. Dawson and J. Cocker, of Wellington, will deliver addresses. Solos will be rendered by the Rev. J. F. Doherty, and the Rev. B. Metson will recite. The choir will render an anthem. A collection will be taken.
