TAYLOR-CARRINGTON COMPANY.

The above popular compare stage for the first time in Foxton a new Irish drama, entitled “ Ould Ireland.” This drama is powerfully written, and is full of excellent situations and realistic incidents. A most realistic effect is produced in the last act, when an express train dashes across the stage at full speed. The play is illustrated by some beautiful views, depicting the beauties of “Brin’s Green Isle.” Other elements in the shape of music, singing; and dancing are not lacking. This drama was written to amuse and interest, and no expense has been spared to make the production a success. It was staged at both Wellington and Christchurch recently, where the company played most prosperous seasons.
