WOLFE’S SCHNAPPS.—A tonic that has stood tlie lest of years.

INFLUENZA! Influenza, which is very similar to a severe cold, attended by a high fever, requires very careful attention. Unless care is taken pneumonia often follows. The patient should avoid exposure. Take a double dose of Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy to begin with, and then a regular dose each hour. Keep the bowels regular by taking Chamberlain’s Tablets. Before retiring bathe the feet in water as hot as can be comfortably borne. After the fever subsides, take quinine in two or three grain doses four limes a day, for several days. By taking Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy at the very first symptom of influenza it will counteract any tendency of this disease to result in pneumonia. Thousands have used Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy during the past year, and we have to learn of a single case where they were not satisfied. Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy—Safe, Sure, and always Cures.

AT FIRST, NOT AT LAST. THAT IS THE WAY TO CERE ALL STOMACH DISORDERS, BY USING MOTHER SEIGEL’S SYRUP. DONT SUFFER FOR YEARS—BE CURED AT ONCE. ‘ IF we must flic, let us die fighting!” is a motto that has saved many a brave baud of' men —and women, too—in the world’s history. We are in the habit of! supposing that the heroic maxim belongs only to the glare of war, but as a matter of fact it animates the daily struggle of hundreds of thousands of people in their home lives. We are all engaged in the stern, but not unwelcome, duties and aspirations of business effort, some in great enterprises, others in smaller ones, all aiming at the doing of the best we can. But there is an army of men and women who at the same time have to fight continually for the good health and strength necessarj' to keep them in the ranks of the breadwinners. It is surprising how many hundreds of peoph- write to the proprietors of Mother Seigel’s Syrun saying, “ For many years I was a victim of indigestion,” or ‘*Ten years ago I began to suffer from indigestion,’’ and they all tell how they tried many kinds of medicine without benefit, until they “at last,” AT LAST tried Mother Seigel’s Syrup, and were cured. If they had only had the good fortune to have used this great and world-re-nowned medicine “at first,” instead of “ at last,’’ they would have been spared these years of suffering, distress and loss, both physical, mental and neenniary. The curative methods of this preparation have become known throughout the world by more than 35 years of popular use and approval. Read what Mr J. Harley, a wellknown and active canvasser and agent living at fit), Stanley Street, Hyde Park, Sydney, says in the following letter, dated March li3rd, 1907 : “For several years,’’ he writes, “I suffered greatly from neuralgia, and in addition to that I was greatly troubled with indigestion. I blame the indigestion for causing the neuralgia, as I was unable to digest my food, and my health was falling off, and my nerves seemed broken clown. The pains in my head were so severe that I could not bear anything to touch it. I could get no sleep at nights, and I was dreadfully melancholy—having tried all the remedies recommended by friends and others they seemed to aggravate my pain and weaken my condition, more and more. “ However, in 1905 I was induced to read one of Mother Seigel’s pamphlets, and, seeing similar cases to my own having been cured, I gave it a trial, und I found after taking a single bottle great relief, j continued its use until I had taken in all six bottles, when I was completely cured of both the idigestion and neuralgia, and restored to my former good health. I will always praise its wonderful j merits whenever I have the oppor-1 tunity.” ] Use Mother Seigel’s Syrup at first, not “at last,” for all disorders of the stomach, liver and kidneys, and you will need no other medicine. It always cures.
