INQUEST.

An inquest touching the death, of Charles Bowers, who was accidentally killed through the capsizing of a cart at Moutoa on Wedensday, was held yesterday, at the deceased’s residence, Moutoa, before the coroner, Alf. Fraser Esq., and the following jury; Messrs F. S. Easton (foreman), G. Spring, G. Munro, F. Shaw, W. J. Easton, and another. Constable Woods appeared on behalf of the police. Evidence was given by Xionel de Ridder, the wife of deceased, and Dr Mandl, and was of a similar nature to that already published in our last issue.

The jury returned the following verdict: ‘‘That Charles Bowers Was accidentaly killed on Wednesday, 2nd October, by the overturning of a dray driven by himself and that no blame is attachable to any person.” The deceased was insured by his employer, Mr F. S. Easton, against accident.
