Big Prizes for Dogs. A feature at the Manawatu Show each year is the fine dog show of the Manawatu Kennel Club under the auspices of the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association. Prizes scheduled and offered comprises 136 classes with prizes of first £l, second 7s 6d, third ss. u The New Zealand Kennel Club/ challenge breeds comprise Irish Setters, Black Cocker Spaniels, and Rough Coated Collies. In the open classes for Smooth Fox Terriers, Wire Fox Terriers, Cocker Spaniels', Rough Coated Collies, Irish Terriers, Bull Dogs, and English Setters, first prizes of £1 in each breed are offered. Dog fanciers are certainly offered a fine list of prizes and a specially good show may be looked for which will be accommodated in one of the big halls 150 feet long by 60 feet wide.
