^ —♦ Arnst’s Record Beaten Sydney, September 7. The annual Goulburn to Sydney cycle road race was run in fine weather to-da5 r , and was won by Wallcott, of Sydney, who had 55 min. start, in 6hr 57 2-smin. G. Horder, who finished in nth place, put up the fastest time, namely 6hr which is a record for the course, beating R. Arnst’s previous best of 6hr 38Amin by one minute.
