A NEW AIRSHIP.
London, September 1
The Daily Mail states that the War Office, after two years’ secret experiments, has built an airship approximating to the type of the La Patrie. It has a sausageshaped balloon Bft by 30ft. Both planes and fan propellers will be used. In the direction of propulsion it is believed that the petrol motor will be a great advance on French and German engines.
The airship will be floated at Aldershot in a fortnight.
