SLY GROG.
Christchurch, Yesterday
The police raided premises in Manchester Street on Sunday and arrested the proprietors, Michael Hislop, on a charge of keeping a sly-grog shop. Another man, named Graham, was arrested on a charge of consorting with thieves. A quantity of liquor was seized. Several residents of the city were found on the premises and their names were taken. Accused will appear at Court to-day.
