THE LAND BILL.
The Land Laws Amendment Bill, which- has been under consideration by the Lands Committee for a little over theee weeks, 'came before the House yesterday afternoon in its amended form. A number of interesting additions have been made, but the measure has, not been seriously modified. Replying to the . leader of the Opposition, the ; Hon. R., McNab (Minister of Lands) stated that he hoped to be able to intimate- next week when the second reading of ‘the Bill would take place., .’ r . ■
