THE BUILDING TRADE.

The building trade still continues brisk. Mr Rimmer has secured the contract to build a cottage for Mrs Shadbolt near the Manawatu Hotel, a six-roomed dwelling in Park-street for Mr Bradley, and a cottage in Thynnestreet for Mrs Robinson.

Mr Ward has just completed a residence in Thynne-street for Mr Goddin, and will shortly erect a dwelling in the same street for Mr Rose.

Mr Rockel is building a residence in Thynne Street. Mr Alex. Speirs has secured a contract for the erection ot a residence in Thynne Street for Mr Hornblovv.

There are several other buildings almost completed in different parts of the borough.
