London, July 27. Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman has dropped several more Bills, hoping that Parliament will be able to rise on August 24th. He says he intends to pass 22 more Bills during the session, including the Merchant Shipping Tonnage Bill, the Australian States Constitution Bill, and the Evidence on Colonial Statutes Bill. Sir Henry considers it would be possible to pass 17 more Bills if the opposition to the first 22 is not extreme. Mr Balfour considers such a programme ludicrous.
