RAID ON ANARCHISTS.
No Room for Undesirables In Berlin. The German authorities have given one more instructive example of the energetic measures they take in dealing with undesirable aliens. Early one morning in May an extensive police raid was made on the lodgings of numerous Russian fugitives now residing in Berlin, and between twenty and thirty Russians of both sexes were arrested and conveyed to the police headquarters. Six Russians immediately received orders of expulsion, compelling them to leave the country within 48 hours, two Russians were detained under arrest to wait indictment for treasonable conspiracy, and another was detained to answer a charge of violently attacking the police in the performance of their duty. The German authorities are determined to prevent Anarchists and terrorists of any nationality from utilising Berlin or anj r other place in German territory as a basis tor their criminal operations.
