FOXTON SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
A meeting of the above was held in the Borough Chambers on Thursday evening. Present— Messrs A. D. Clemett (Chairman), Coley, Betty, Perrean, and 1,. Wilson (acting secretary). Correspondence was read from Mr Adams and Mesdames Austin and Aldridge, and dealt with ; also from the Education Board re cess . Re technical education, it was proposed by Mr Clemett, and seconded by Mr Betty, That this subject be deferred until a later meeting. Mrs Young was granted the use of the westerh room of the old school for the' sum of 23 6d per week, provided the room is kept in order, and that the tenant be willing to quit at one week’s notice from the committee. Accounts were passed for pa3 rment. In reference to Mr Adams’ letter, re persons camping in old school, Mr L. W. Wilson was authorised to see that all locks and windows are putin order. The Treasurer’s balance was reported at £26 4s xod.
