Mrs John Webber, who died in Wellington on Saturday, was an old and respected resident of the Wellington district. She was born in Dover in 1822, and came to Wellington with her parents, Mr and Mrs Thos. Dodds, by the ship Lady Nugent, in 1841. Soon after her arrival she moved to Otaki, where she remained until 12 months ago. Her husband, to whom she was married in Wellington, predeceased her by about 12 years.
