London Wool Sales.
Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cable from their London office, dated the 9th instant “Wool sales have opened with a fair selection. There is a large attendance of buyers and competition is animated. Merinos and fine crossbreds —prices are unchanged. Greasy medium and coarse crossbred wools —at par to 5 per cent lower that closing rates of May series. Slips, 5 to 10 per cent lower. The decline is chiefly on short wasty wools. ’ ’
