JAPANESE PREPARATIONS.

Berlin, July 9

Japan has placed with Krupps heavy orders for 12-iiich guns for her Dreadnoughts, owing to English works being fully occupied constructing 120 such guns for the ships ot Britain and other Poweis. Krupps, at a cost of ,£3,000,000, will afford employment to 30,000 additional men. Immensely extended works have been ordered to be prepared to meet the new demand.
