VISIT OF POULTRY EXPERT.
The Secretary of the local Chamber of Commerce received the following letter from the • Minister of Agriculture this morning in respect to the visit of the poultry expert to Foxton ; —I beg to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of this date, asking for the presence of the poultry Expert in Foxton to lecture on poultry riasing. In reply I have the honour to inform you that I have given instructions for the officer in question to attend at Foxton as soon as his other duties will permit of his going there. —Yours faithfully, Robert McNab.
