London Markets. Jgetyand Company, Limited, ■Hlington, have received the «Hwing cable messages from ■Hion, dated 3rd inst. : Antwerp sales. For tos and fine crossbreds, as pared with average rates of ■V sales, prices are at par to % d MS lb lower. Coarse crossbred 3| neglected. For the fourth is’ of sales in London the new have amounted to 299,000 ■His, of which 148,000 bales have forwarded direct to manu*cturers at Home and abroad, leaving 166,000 bales available for ! sale (includes 15,000 bales carried forward from May series). For Merinos and fine crossbreds the London sales are expected to open without alteration. Medium and coarse crossbreds —a decline on last series’ closing rates of Jd to id per lb is expected. | Tallow.—Prices in general are f.t par to 3d lower. The demand is limited. Rabbit-skins.—There is likely to be offered 2800. Expect no improvement in prices as long as shipments are large. Wheat Market. Adelaide, July 4. 1 Wheat is advancing, and is now / quoted at 3s 1 id: A Sydney, July 5. 1 Wheat sellers are firm, and are demanding 2s. Buyers offer id less. v Ashburton, July 4. Several big deals in wheat have taken place within the last few days. One line of 44,000 bushels assorted wheat sold at 4s qd on the trucks at Ashburton, which is equal to 4s yd f.o.b. Another line of 12,000 bushels sold at 4s 3d on the trucks.
