FOXTON BOROUGH COUNCI L. SPECIAL ORDERS. THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies Loans Act;, 1901 ’’ and “ The Public Works; Act, 1905,” section 118, the Foxton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: To raise a loan of from the Colonial Treasurer for the purpose of re-building a portion of Whirokino Bridge over the Manawatu River, such loan to be for a period of forty-one years, and that the interest to be paid is at the rate of four per cent per annum in accordance with sub-section C of section 8 of <: The Local Bodies Loans Act Amendment, 1903.’’ The cost of raising the loan and the first year’s interest to be paid out of the loan. THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” and “The Public Works Act, rgos,” the Foxton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of ,£4OO for 41 years at four per’ cent, per annum, authorised to be raised by the Foxton Borough Council under the above mentioned Acts for rebuilding a portion of the Whirokino Bridge, the said. Foxton Borough Council herein makes and levies a special rate of -id in the £ upon the rateable value of all the rateable property in the Borough of Foxton, and that such special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the Ist day of July in each and every year during the currency of such lean, being a period of 41 years, or until the loan is fully paid off. THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested, in it in that behalf by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900, “the Foxton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: Whereas Gauis Brewer, owner of part section number 161 in the Borough of Foxton has made a private street 66 feet wide through the said part of section 161, connecting and joining with Johnston Street; and whereas the said Gauis Brewer has fulfilled 1 the requirements of the Foxton Borough Council and ‘ 1 The Municipal Corporation Act, 1906.“ Now this Council declares by this Special Order that Frances Street is a public street in the meaning of the above Act, and thereby becomes a street vested in the Foxton Borough Council. To make a separate rate of one half-penny in the,£ over the Whirokino Division of the Awahou Riding for the current financial year, ending 31st March, 1908, Such rate to become due and payable in one sum at the County offices, Sanson, on xst August, 1907. 2. To make a separate rate of one-sixth of a penny in the £ over the Awahou Riding, excluding the Whirokino Division, for the current financial year, ending 31st March, 1907. Such rate to become due and payable in one sum at the County offices, Sanson, on the xst August, 1907. Copies in full of the foregoing Special Orders are deposited at the County offices, Sanson, for inspection during office hours.
