We received the following letter from Mr J. Stevens, member for the district, which he has received from the Acting Minister of Telegraphs ; “ In reference to the request of the deputation which you introduced to me on the 4th March last, that the Moutoa Post Office be connected with the telephone system, I have the honour to inform you that the erection of a telephone line to Moutoa has been authorised and instructions have been given for the work to be proceeded with. ’ ’
