A representative of the Star had a chat this morning with a well-known Southern flaxmiller regarding the new regulations) which are to come into force next September. ‘ ( I object entirely,” he said, “to the proposal to alter the name from New Zealand hemp to phormium fibre. ‘ New Zealand hemp’ is a good advertisment for the colony, just as ‘ Manila hemp’ is for that place.” What do you think of our hemp ?
