DIVORCE COURT.
Auckland, June 28
At the Supreme Court to-day, Catherine Austen petitioned for a divorce from Willian Austen, alleging misconduct. The evidence supported the allegation, but Mr Justice Denniston said the circumstances were very suspicious, the defendant evidently having misconducted himself while aware that he was watched by a man cold off for that purpose at the wife’s instance. He did not wish to see the petitioner bound to the respondent, but he must take care that the Court was not taken advantage of. He reserved his decision.
