LAND BILL.
Gore, Friday, . The Hon. R. McNab addressed a crowded meeting of his constituents in the Town Hall to-night. A motion of thanks and confidence in the Government, and of strong approval of the earnest efforts that were being made by the Government to promote land settlement, was moved by Mr Duncan Gilchrist, a prominent member of the Farmers’ Union, and was passed unanimously.
