HOUSES CONDEMNED.

Dunedin, June 10.

Eighteen houses in or off W alker street were this morning condemned by the Health Department. The quarters are for the most part occupied by Syrians. The Health Office’s inspector says that the premises were kept surprisingly clean considering the state of the buildings.
