SERIOUS CHARGES.

Sydney traders arrested. Sydney, June 8. A sequestration order has been granted against the estate of Abraham Myerson and Maurice Myerson, merchants, trading as the American Shirt Company and as the Phoenix Clothing Manufacturers, who have been arrested on a charge of conspiring to defraud their creditors. Evidence on behalf of the petitioning creditors, who include a number of large city firms, set out that the liabilities are over ,£25,000, and the assets ,£II,OOO. The Myersons have been selling heavy stocks of goods at auction below cost price, and drawing large sums from the bank of which no account is given in their books.
