A JOCKEY INJURED.
Auckland, June 3
A jockey named B. Towers was thrown while riding in the Maiden Steeplechase at Ellerslie on Saturday. He was removed to the hospital. He has not yet recovered consciousness fully, but it is not anticipated that his injuries will result seriouslv.
