BOROUGH COUNCIL, ELECTION. TO THE BURGESSES OF FOXTON. LADIES and Gentlemen, — I BEG to tender to you ray heartfelt thanks for the honour you have done me in re-electing me to a seat on your Council for another two years. I hope it will ever he a reminder to me to try and fully deserve your confidence. With ordinary good fortune, we who have just been elected, ought to be able to do much more towards promoting the progress of the town than the outgoing Council was able to do during a period that was handicapped by the simultaneous breaking of two culverts and consequent cruel drain on the funds.
