THE ELINGAMITE TREASURE.
■ Auckland; April 20. The auxiliary schooner Huia leaves Kaipara to-day under the charge of Capt. D. McKenzie to make an attempt to recover the balance of bullion lost in the wreck of the Elingamite in November, 1902. . Mr Leigh, of Wellington, has been engaged as diver. Capt. Willis superintends operations, and the expedition is financed by Capt. George McKenzie, of Auckland.
