Details are now available in respect to the entries received in the dairy factory butter and cheese classes at the coming Winter Show. In butter. 91 entries have been received from 48 factories; in cheese, 59 from 16 factories. The distribution of entries is as follows : —Butter for best two boxes of export butter, 56lbs weight and 48lbs, best two boxes of export butter open to factory or manager not having won a prize to the value of £5 18s ; best two boxes of export butter taken from bulk, 25lbs. Cheese, best three cases full cream, N.Z. Cheddon - shaped cheese, suitable for export, coloured, i3lbs; best three cases, ditto, white, iqlbs ; best two factory cheeses, fully matured, any colour, 22lbs; best two mediumsized, ditto, rolbs ; best two loaf cheese, rolbs.
