THE DAIRY INDUSTRY.

Large Entries for the Winter

Show.

A Suggestion.

By Telegraph—Special to Herald.

Palmerston, This Day,

Excellent entries have been received for dairy factory butter and cheese classes at the coming winter show of the Manawatu A. and-P. Association.

Sixty-three factories, from all important dairying centres, are represented, many having several entries in for essay competition on “ Butter making in New Zealand”, for a £l2 prize, and 24 entries have come to hand.

It is suggested that in view of the very great interest shown, the A. and P. Association might well give a second prize.
