LONDON MARKETS. Dalgety and Company, Etd. , Wellington, have received the following cables from London, dated the 21st instant: BUTTER —Market firm. The Copenhagen official quotation is unchanged. Salted 100/-. Unsalted 102/-. The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending the 16th instant amounted to 88,000 cwt. as compared with 78,000 cwt, for the corresponding week of last year. FROZEN MEAT. Market dull and tone generally easier. N. Z. frozen lamb, any change in prices is in favour of sellers. Mutton, prices are weaker. Frozen beef (sides) higher by per lb.
WOOL- —Sales continue very firm.
SHEEP - SKlNS.—Prices are higher as follows: — Greasy super Merino, and fine croosbred, combing skins, X dto 3 M’> S re . as y coarse crossbred combing skins, %d to J^d; clothing skins, at par to %d. TAEEOW.—Market dull, but prices are unchanged. Buyers are holding back. COCKSFOOT.—(New Zealand) There is more disposition to do business and prices are inclined to improve.
