BANK ROBBERY.

A Desperado Shot.

Johannesburg, March 21. Two men, armed with revolvers, attempted to hold up the Harrison street branch of the National Bank of South Africa in Johannesburg. The officials returned the robbers’ fire, and one of the men was shot in the mouth. He was promptly overpowered. The other man has been arrested. The wounded man is not expected to recover.
