AN AUCKLAND SENSATION.
' Auckland, This Day. A man named Charles Lewin was arrested on a charge of having stabbed the porter of the Aurora Hotel. It is alleged that Lewin was being ejected from the hotel, and whilst offering resistance stabbed the porter, Alfred Hodge. The latter was removed to the hospital with one wound in his arm, one in the right leg and two in his left leg. Hodge is making satisfactory progress.
