* Perth, March q. In the baby-tarming case against Mrs Mitchell, a witness deposed that while he was staying with accused, the latter told him that his child would always be a nuisance, and keep him poor. She said that if he would give her £lO and ios weekly, she would get rid of the child. She would give it opening medicine or would stick a hatpin in its heart.
