A VALUABLE DISCOVERY.
Adelaide, Feb. 17. What promises to be a valuable discovery of thorium (a rare metal similar to aluminium) has been made at Kangaroo .Island. Thorium is valued at £I7OO per ton. The precise percentage of thorium present is not definitely' known, but experts say it is high. One states that tlie crystals found arc tlie largest yet discovered in the world.
