FATAL ACCIDENTS.
Christchurch, February 6
Last evening a man named Timothy Mellor, aged sixty, employed by the Kaipoi Shipping Company, was jambed between two trucks while unloading them. He died from the effects of his injuries. Mangawkka, February 6. Richard Brown, employed in the Government gravel-pit, was killed on the railway line near Ohingaiti last night. Deceased was apparently lying between the rails and was struck hy the engine of the evening mail train.
