Penalties. —Flat Races—The winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of xolbs, and of every additional race a further penalty of ylbs. Horses handicapped at Bst xolbor over to carry half the above penalties. Hurdle Races —The winner of any hurdle race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of xolbs in the hurdle race, and ot every additional race a further penalty of ylbs. Definition of a Hack.-—A Hack means a horse that has not at time of entry won a race of the value of 100 sovs, or races of the collective value of 250 sovs, No horse will be allowed 'to start whose fees are unpaid. Entries by telegram must be confirmed in writing at the earliest possible opportunity. No betting allowed on the course except through the medium of th Totalisator. ? .
