FOXTON BRASS BAND.

A committee meeting was held last night in the Band room, at which MrEbbet, Bandmaster, presided. The secretary read a statement showing a balance in hand of remit to Dresden Piano Co. The idea as to holding a bazaar about Easter was discussed and as a result the secretary was instructed to write to the ladies of the town asking their co-operation. A committee consisting of Messrs Ebbett, Walls and Baskerville were appointed to arrange all details as to holding a concert early in February. The Land will discourse a sacred music on Sunday next at Mr W. Walden’s, Moutoa.
