WEDDING BELLS.
Whibley—Dudson.. At St. Mary’s Church, Foxton, on January 7th, 1907, Mr C. John Whibley, second son of Mr Daniel Whibley, was united in holy matrimony to. Miss Mabel Frances, second daughter of the late Mr Frank Dudson. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Chaffeur. The bride was charmingly attired in white merveilleau silk and wore the usuaf veil frid* orange blossoms and carried'* a' shower bouquet. She was attended by her' sister, Miss Bertha, attired in white silk with hat to match, and Miss Ethel Whibley, sister of the bridegroom, attired in white silk and hat to match, Mr Frank Whibley officiated as best man and Mr Ernest Dudson as groomsman. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr Sydney Dudson. As the party entered and left the Church the wedding march was played by MrßertholdAfter the ceremony, the party, including about 60 guests, were entertained at “ Nikau Villa,” the home of the bride’s parent. The usual toasts were honoured, and a most enjoyable time spent, jffijhswas a handsome brooch set with valuable stones, and the bridesmaids also received; gifts of gold brooches. The bride’s present to the bridegroom was a set of gold sleevelinks. Among the numerous presents were included several substantial cheques. Mr and Mrs Whibley have taken up their residence in Foxton and the best wishes of a large number of friends, with whom we join, are extended to them.
