MURDERER SENTENCED.

Chester Gillette has been sentenced to electrocution at Herluner, New York, for the murder of his sweetheart while boating on the Big Moose Lake. A pathetic incident of the trial was that bis mother, in order to obtain money for her son’s unavailing defence, acted as reporter at the trial for a Denver newspaper, and described an interview with her son in his cell.
