The success of Kai Errin at Woodville was long overdue and was well received in Foxton. Mr W. Walden is deserviag of congratulations for having stuck to the disappointing bay so long. Now that he has caught the judge’s eye he may go on winning, as AID Wright has him pretty well just now. By his win Kai Enin has probably saved himself the distinction of being placed in the shafts ot a butcher’s cart.
Foxton is claiming the attention of outside trainers just jmw and I hear D. Proctor intendH|o bring Swop.here to undergopfure preparations. ,* lt - '
Docal punters had a good time over the Woodville. meeting, presumably due to the success of Alf, Wright’s charges. Young Charlie Price and local horses seemed destined to have a gpod innings on the Woodville course. At the 1905 February meeting Charlie rode Furnedux when he paid £lO odd; the following December he -steered Miss Dancelot and Barmaid to victory when they won races for Toney Messena; and now this week the local horseman has been associated ~ with the victories of Dord Soult and Kai Errin.
