MOTOR CAR FATALITY.
Christchurch, Dec. 5,
At one o’clock this morning a motorcar containing five men, and driven by Mr T. W. Felton, ran into a cart on the Riccarton road. The pole of the cart entered the body of Mr G. De Montalk, who was sitting with Mr Pelton on the front seat of the motor-car. Mr De Montalk was flung out on to the road, and died in a few minutes. Mr Feltton was also thrown out and injured, the others being badly shaken. The driver of the cart was uninjured.
