Foxton v. Mouloa Schools.

The first match, of the season between these schools was played on Saturday in Victoria Park, and resulted in a win for the Foxton boys by. the narrow margin of 4 runs Mr Stewart had secured the new limestone pitch and coeoanut matting from the committee of the Cricket Association for the match, but after al few preliminary balls the boys scorned the matting. »'We like a fast pitch !" they said.
