FOXTON CLUB.

A meeting of those interested in the formation of the above club was held in Mr Perreau’s rooms last evening. In the absence of the Mayor, Mr Clemett presided. The Chairman reported on behalf of the site committee that a suitable building had not yet been found and after a desultory discussion it was decided to give the committee another week in which to furnish a report. The annual subscription was fixed at two guineas and seven guineas for life members. Several important matters were left over for future discussion and the meeting rose.
