LONDON, NOV. 6.
A meeting of the National Free Church Council, attended by 2208 delegates, declared that the House of Lords' amendments to the Education Bill stultified the nation’s verdict. The meeting appealed to the Government to oppose every alteration eiving a foothold to sectarian privilege.
Dr Clifford called the Archbishop of Canterbury a “ Minister facing both way»./’
