A RESOLUTION AGAINST DANCING.
At the Anglican Synod held at Nelson recently a resolution was carried, on the motion of Archdeacon Grace, “that while fully appreciating and gratelul for the efforts of church members throughout the diocese, gratuitously mare, for maintaining and extending Church work, this Synod discountenances dances as a means of raising funds for any Church purposes whatsoever. ’ ’
