CAB-DRIVER KILLED.
Collision with Electric Tramcar.
Christchurch, Nov. 2
At 10.10 last evening an electric car collided with a handsome cal) at the corner of St. Asaph-street and Colombo-street. The cab, which was driven by Frederick Reid, of Einwood, contained three passengers. The vehicle was completely smashed, and Reid was thrown partly under the car, receiving a severe wound on the back of the head, and injuries about the body. He died in the hospital early this morning. The passengers in the cab sustained no serious injury. Reid was about 67 years of age.
