CHANGES in naval COMMANDERSHIP.
London, October 30. It is officially announced that the following changes hare been made amongst the naval commanders-in-chief, to take effect early next year :
Admiral G-. S. Bosanquet, to command Portsmouth.
Vice-Admiral Lord Charles Beresford, the Channel fleet. ' Vice-Admiral Sir C/'Drury, 'the Mediterranean fleet.
Admiral Sir A. Lowe, the Atlantic fleet. *"
Rear-Admiral Sir. F...C. .Bridgoman, the Home fleet. r
Vice-Admiral Sir W. H. May becomes Second Sea, Lord. / \' Rear-Admiral A. ifl '‘Wirrtlofe—lias been appointed Fourth Sea Lord, Rear-Admiral Prinegj.Lpuis.Qt Balteuburg has been appointed second in command of the Mediterranean fleet. Rear-Admiral C. H. Adair succeeds Prince Louis of Batfenburg in command of the second cruiser squadron.
Captain P. S. Inglefield, one of the Lords of the Admiralty, and Naval Aid-de-camp to the King, commands the fourth cruiser squadron, vice Admiral Bosanquet.
