BOOKMAKERS FINED.
Invercargill, October 31
Mr McCarthy, S.M., tOrday fined William Noel and Thomas Brennan, bookmakers, each for trespassing on the Riverton racecourse on April last. Evidence was given that defendants were warned off the course on two occasions, and refused to leave. ,
