“LONDON LIFE.”
♦, Such is the title of the new sensational drama to be produced at the Public Hall to-night by the Taylor-Carrington Company, and ‘as it implies, it deals with those whose lives are spent in th,e bustle and turmoil of the world’s Metropolis, mighty London pourtrayiug in vivid language the strenuous life of the toiler, the squalor of the poor and the luxury of rich, enriched by beautiful specimens of the scenic-painter’s art, it holds and rivets the attention of the audience from the rise to the fall of the curtain. The management of the Taylor-Carrington Co. are well-known for the excellent manner in which their plays are staged. “London Life” will be no exception to the rule and the mounting of this play will justify the reputation enjoyed by them. In the part of Charlie Mason, Mr Taylor has the opportunity of displaying his remarkable versatility, whilst in the character of Marian Eldred, Miss Carrington’s wellknown emotional power is put to a very strong test.
